WEEK 3 OF BELOW FREEZING TEMPS! I KNOW. LETS DO A PHOTOSHOOT.
Having lived in California most of my life, I decided I needed a change of scenery. Moving from one coast to the other seemed like a wonderful idea at the time. Found the perfect job, to help drive my new life and career out on the east coast. Well after a week of sun, winter hit and I have been frozen ever since. Its going to take some time for this LA native to get used to 35˚ being a “warm day.”
BUT THANKFULLY THE SUN DOES SHINE HERE IN THE WINTER!
I will give the east coast this as it relates to photography. There is space to roam here. There are turnouts, dead end streets, rivers, abandoned houses, deserted streets, huge lots with trees; there is just so much space to shoot, and all the time in the world to shoot it. No permits, no tickets for parking for more than 12 seconds, and if a cop does come by, they likely will just let you be or move you along.
The best part about my job is the talented people I work with and the ridiculously amazing cars I get to touch everyday. So much more to come! This is a Nissan 370Z that we are building at the shop. On the streets its hard not to break the tires in 4th! I’ve never felt the road like I did in this warm, almost futuristic, warm sheath of metal and mayhem!
